&TV is all set to revive weekends with the second season of ‘The Voice India Kids’ that will take the viewers on a musical journey. The kids will be seen not only winning everyone’s heart with their melodious voice but also with their truly inspirational stories and belief. In the very first episode of the season, a contestant from New Jersey just bowled over the coaches with his strong belief and respect towards the Indian culture.
Born and brought up in New Jersey, Ishaan is trained in Indian classical music. Not just his singing but his values and rootedness in Indian traditions really surprised the coaches. Ishaan even spoke about his own thread ceremony ritual that impressed Shaan the most.
Shaan was heard mentioning, “I have two sons and even we were supposed to perform this ritual with them but we didn’t. After listening to you today, I want my kids to also perform the ritual, as it is important for all of us to be connected to our roots. You have taught me a lesson today.”
It’s a lesson truly well learned!
