The currency ban adversely affected the business of theatre owners and just as the theatres were forced to be shut, Aamir Khan’s Dangal came into the picture.
The movie has proved to be a tidal change in the economy of the film industry by collecting a whooping 523.47 Cr at the box office.
He recently received a lot of letters by the theatre owners thanking him for making a game changer movie. The star was touched to be receiving them. He shares, “”It has been a very exciting and fulfilling journey. When I look back at my career, all my decisions – on the face of it – have mostly been impractical and risky, with the latest instance being Dangal.”
The star further stated, “Also, I have been able to do the kind of work that I believe in. Not all of us are lucky enough to be in the position where you can choose to do what you want. I feel very grateful to be in that position. I am able to do the work that I love”.
