Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan have paired up for ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ and it was reported that Big B injured his shoulder and back which caused him pain. But Aamir Khan has confirmed that the Legendary actor is back on sets after recovery and geared up to shoot his action sequences.
He said, “I shot with Amitji last night itself. It’s true that he has pain in the shoulder and back. But this film also has a lot of action scenes for him. I think it is after a lot of years that you will see Amitji doing a lot of action. So, it’s definitely a challenging film for him and he is coping very well with it”.
“During the shoot last night, AB took onto to the Mic to announce my birthday and wished me too”, he added.
Talking about the fees that stars charge to make a film go over budget, Aamir said, “I haven’t charged a fee for years now. I take a cut from the profits that a film makes. If a movie does less business, then the profit is less and then I don’t charge the makers at all”.
Enlightening his fans on the one thing he hopes to give up on his 53rd year, he said, “I wish to quit smoking this year. If I may not be able to do that, I’ll definitely reduce the intake to begin with. My wife (Kiran Rao) desires the same from me”.
Thugs Of Hindostan is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh. The film is currently being shot in parts of Jodhpur’s Mehrangarh Fort. Thugs Of Hindostan is slated to release on Diwali 2018.
