Badrinath is here to woo his Dulhaniya!

The 2nd movie of the Dharma love franchise is all set to make us fall in love all over again with Varun and Alia. The two launched the trailer today in style having some fun and candid moments with the media. The trailer started with Varun and Alia dancing to the tunes of the title track ‘Badri Ki Dulhaniya’.

In the beginning of the event, Karan Johar took the opportunity to thank the fans who loved ‘Humpty Sharma ki Dukhaniya’. He also revealed that they have decide three love ‘Dulhaniya’ movies from the same franchise but will make the third one only if ‘Badrinath’ works well. He also revealed that if and when they make the third franchise, Shashank Khaitan will be directing the third part like he did the other two.

The trailer of the movie looks promising. It is funny and romantic at the same time. ‘Badrinath ki Dulhaniya’ is not a steamy romance number but what small town love stories tend to be. Alia is shown as an intelligent girl studying in Kota and Badri is all set to woo her. The two have an amazingly comic yet cute accent which gives a little old school touch. As the era is of making song remixes, this one also has a Tamma Tamma remix in the movie.

While interacting with the media, Varun went candid and spoke about his biggest fear which is that his audience find him boring. He wants to entertain his fans through his movies. Talking about Alia in as a Dulhania, Varun proudly declared that Alia will make a good Bahu. Our lead actress immediately replied saying that she feels being a Dulhan is in her spirit now. She has been a Dulhan in ‘Humpty Sharma’ and ‘2 States’, thus she feels Alia is now equal to a Dulhan.

Since the movie is releasing on 10th of March, during Holy, Varun commented that this is his first festive release and maybe slowly and steadily he will look forward for other festivals in order to release his films.
