Well, the makers of Padmavaat can now rejoice as the film will not face any Box-Office competition. The Supreme Court too paved the way for the release of the film yesterday by allowing an All India release. Finally, fans of Deepika Padukone can watch the actress as Rani Padmini on the big screen alongside actors Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. With a clearance and certification from the CBFC, Padmavaat is building the positive buzz and the moviegoers can now enjoy Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus historical drama on the Republic Day weekend.
On the other hand, Padman and Aiyaary will clash with each other on February 9 at the Box-Office. Padman stars Akshay Kumar alongside actresses Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. The film is based on the real life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham who manufactured low cost sanitary pads for providing menstrual hygiene to women in rural India.
