In its race to become India’s Oscar entry, C International Sales has secured US and Canadian distribution with Film Movement for Hotel Salvation. The deal was negotiated between its President, Michael Rosenberg and Marina Fuentes, Director of International Sales and Acquisitions at C International Sales.

Written & Directed by debutant Shubhashish Bhutiani, Hotel Salvation received a 10 minute standing ovation at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival 2016. The film also received the prestigious XXIIIrd GRAND PRIX “ENRICHO FULCHIGNONI 2016 Award and the UNESCO Gandhi Medal at the same festival. His short film titled Kush won over 30 International Awards including the Orizzonti for Best Short at Venice in 2013 and was also shortlisted for an Oscar by the Academy in 2014.
Hotel Salvation has become the most awarded film of the year in India and has received high ratings from critics as well. In addition to the North American deal the film has also closed distribution for France (Jupiter Films) and Spain (Karma Films) lately, apart from countries in Europe, UK, Japan, South Korea, Middle East. Japan, South Africa, Middle and South East Asia.
