Daisy Shah: We bonded together like a family on the sets of Race 3

Actress Daisy Shah is all set to play a negative character in the upcoming Bollywood film Race 3. Daisy who has earlier worked with Salman Khan in Jai Ho will be reuniting yet again with Salman. The film also features an ensemble star cast of actors like Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Saqib Saleem, Bobby Deol. Produced by Ramesh Taurani and directed by Remo Dsouza, Race 3 is scheduled to release on the festive occasion of Eid (15 June 2018).

In an Interview with Cinespeaks, Daisy Shah speaks to us.

On playing a negative character in the much awaited film Race 3, Daisy said, “It was super fun to play a negative character in the film. I never thought that I had an evil trait within myself. It was a kind of an eye-opener that I can play negative characters. Filming for Race 3 was an amazing experience. Anil Kapoor made me and Saqeeb feel extremely comfortable on the sets. It was an easy atmosphere on the sets. We bonded like a family together throughout the process of the film. Salman and Anil used to share plenty of stories about their careers and how they started out in the industry when we used to have dinner together post shooting. So, it was an enriching experience to hear them.”

When we asked Daisy on her process of choosing films, Daisy said, “Honestly, I want to take up films which are interesting and exciting. I haven’t found much scripts recently which made me feel interested or happy. I think it is pointless to do any random film which will eventually go unnoticed. So, I rather work on myself and get better at my craft than taking up any random project.”

Women Centric films like Hichki, Raazi and Veere Di Wedding have found acceptance at the Box-Office this year. When we questioned Daisy as to whether she would like to do a heroine oriented film, Daisy said, “I would be the first person to grab a heroine oriented film.”
