Darasing Khurana: Your passion and dream has to be bigger than the money

Model Darasing Khurana who won the Rubaru Mr. India International Title this year was recently spotted attending the Star Screen Awards in Mumbai. Dara was seen interacting with a lot of Bollywood celebrities who had attended the awards ceremony. Dressed in a red suit, Dara looked dapper on the red carpet as he posed for the shutterbugs.

The Rubaru Mr. India International winner is also known for his support towards cancer patients as he is the Brand Ambassador of the DATRI Organisation. DATRI is a well known organisation which is known to offer help and support to the people who are fighting the battle against cancer and Dara has played a significant role in bringing a lot of awareness for the same.

Dara will soon be representing India at the Rubaru Mr. India International 2018 pageant which is scheduled to be held in the month of February next year. While interacting with us, Dara said, “The pageant is one of the best pageant’s for men which will have participants from around 40 countries. The participants are required to have excellence in academics, looks and should support a socially relevant cause.”

Dara who comes from a small town in Maharashtra (Parbhani) is well educated with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. The actor who was privileged to have a 7-digit salary had sacrificed his job and entered the glamour industry. When we questioned Dara as to what prompted him to take this decision, Dara said, “I think your passion and dream has to be bigger than the amount of money. It was really a tough decision for me to leave my job aside and step into an extremely different industry. However, I was very confident of myself and followed my heart. I also think that education is very important for an individual. One should never compromise on education at any cost. Once you have a degree, you are safe and can try/experiment with other options.”

A special event by the DATRI Organisation is being held in Mumbai on December 14 to create awareness among the public. To support Darasing Khurana’s noble cause, several prominent Bollywood celebrities are expected to turn up at the event.
