Deepika Padukone opens up on her engagement rumours with boyfriend Ranveer Singh

Ever since the start of 2018, actress Deepika Padukone’s engagement to boyfriend Ranveer Singh has been constantly talked about. The couple had flew to Sri Lanka with their families earlier this year and the rumours of their marriage spread like wildfire. It is also reported that the couple are all set for a November marriage this year which shall probably be held in Mumbai.

In a recent interview to a magazine, Deepika Padukone has opened up on the rumours and speculations surrounding her marriage. Deepika said, “I try and keep it separate as much as possible, but I don’t try to fight or control the speculation.” The Padmaavat actress also spoke on her parents marriage and said, “The way they are as a couple, the way they have held the family together. They are amazing role models. Absolutely I want to have kids.”

Ranveer and Deepika had started dating each other in 2013 when they worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki RaasLeela – RamLeela. The duo then paired together for blockbuster films like Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone hasn’t signed any new project post the massive success of Padmaavat which released earlier this year. The actor is only signed for Vishal Bhardwaj’s yet to be titled film which also stars actor Irrfan Khan. The project is currently on hold owing to the health reasons of Irrfan.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Simmba with actress Sara Ali Khan. He will also be seen in Gully Boy with actress Alia Bhatt.
