Actor Rohitashv Gaur has been entertaining his audiences with his role of Manmohan Tiwari aka Tiwari ji on the prime time show ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai!’. The popularity of the show has made him one of the most comical actors on the Hindi Television platform. Interestingly, he has been the co-star of ‘Bigg Boss 11’ winner Shilpa Shinde who played Angoori bhabhi previously which is now being essayed by Shubhangi Atre.
Talking about his ex co-star Rohitashv, he said, “Shilpa Shinde was a very beautiful lady. There are no doubts about it. She looked like a real ‘Bhabhi’. When she used to come on screen she had a grace and charisma. She had mesmerizing eyes. Her exit has hurt us. At least I was affected a lot. I was disappointed with the whole situation”.
“I respect Shubhangi (Atre) because she survived and excelled under a lot of pressure. She used to get compared a lot with Shilpa Shinde in the beginning. She struggled to establish her self amidst people’s opinions. Thanks to the writer, director and our other co-stars who made her feel comfortable and give her the space to bring her uniqueness to the character. She made the character her own”, he added praising her current co-star Shubhangi Atre who’s skillfully popularized herself with the same character.
Wishing Shilpa Shinde stuck to the character she was blessed with, he said, “Shilpa (Shinde) has her truth and we have our side of the story. Shilpa was a very dear friend and we tried to console her. This was a big opportunity for her as an actress given the popularity she was gaining. Maybe we were selfish in our act of wanting to retain her because we really wanted her to stay. Having said that, I do not understand her nature. She has been quitting almost every show she associates with. She has such a history. She needs to realize that one show employees a lot of people and there are dreams our artists’ hardwork depends on. She was very warm on set from distributing sweets to people on sets to giving charity to the spot boys and other people, she kept everyone happy. But she should have retained her good side. The solution for any matter to resolve it is through communication. She could have put across her word in a more peaceful manner. As an artist, we’ve worked on projects without even signing contracts initially just because of our faith in the work we do. She left us at a point when we were peaking to the top and she was a huge contributor to it. She should have considered this aspect as well and respected the love and appreciation she was receiving”.
Well, we hope Rohitashv Gaur continues to do the amazing work he does on television despite which actor he’s paired with.
