Actress Jacqueline Fernandez who is extremely lucky with sequels (Housefull and Judwaa) is all set to star yet again in the franchisee of Race. The trailer of Race 3 has impressed the audience and her sparkling chemistry with actor Salman Khan has become the talk of the Town. Directed by Remo Dsouza, Race 3 also stars actors Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem. The film is scheduled to release on the festive occasion of Eid.
In an interview with Cinespeaks, Jacqueline speaks to us.
On various characters of her upcoming movie Race 3, Jacqueline said, “Race 3 has about six to seven characters and every character in the film has an important part to deliver. So, the film is complete only with all its characters. Every character has to convince and impress the audience. Race 3 is an altogether different story than the previous instalments of Race. It is a multistarrer with several characters where the suspense factor keeps on building till the climax is revealed. It is a film full of action sequences with a proper storyline. I have seen the film during the dubbing session. Salman is extremely particular about every scene and we have worked really very hard on this film.”
On her pole dancing sequence in the film, Jacqueline said, “It was my most difficult sequence in the film. Remo Dsouza came up with this idea of pole dancing sequence in the song Heeriye. I hadn’t done pole dancing since A Gentleman and I was extremely nervous about the same. My trainer flew down for my rehearsal sessions and I practised it. Pole dancing requires a certain way of toned muscles and a flexible body to perform it perfectly. It was really difficult and I worked very hard for it.”
There were reports of Jacqueline pairing up with Salman Khan for a dance film which was to be directed by Remo Dsouza. When we questioned the authenticity of the report, Jacqueline said, “Yes, We were supposed to do a film with Remo Dsouza but it got shelved due to change of plan. Remo came up with Race 3 and I was communicated the information before the shoot of Race 3. The casting and process of Race 3 happened very quickly.”
On her upcoming films post the release of Race 3, Jacqueline said, “Drive will be releasing later this year and I haven’t signed any other film as of now. We are in the scripting process for a film to be based on the book The Girl On The Train. I will only do the film when I am 100 percent sure about it.”
