Actress Kangana Ranaut is the latest Bollywood celebrity to extend her support towards the Kerala Flood Relief. The Queen actress has made a contribution of 10 lakhs towards the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund. The state of Kerala has been affected by massive floods and has left many people homeless. The entire country is making donations in every possible way to make things better for the state of Kerala.
Kangana in a statement said, “I want to urge to people of this country that in whichever capacity they can, they should contribute, even a small amount will make a difference to Kerala”. She further added, “To my people there, I want to say, the whole nation is praying for them and supports them. We feel their pain and sense of loss. And by the grace of God, they will be soon back to their glory. Vandey Mataram!”
Several Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput have extended their help towards the flood hit state.
On the work front, Kangana will be next seen in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The actress has wrapped up the shoot of Mental Hai Kya which also features actor Rajkumarr Rao. Kangana has been also confirmed for Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s next titled Panga.
