The upcoming Bollywood blockbuster Race 3 is all set to break the Box office records and is about to set new milestones. Race 3 is directed by Remo D’Souza and is a complete action pack thriller film featuring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead. Similar to the previous movies of Race Series this movie also has a roller coaster of twists and turns. Until the last frame viewers will wonder who is having a negative role. Apart from the lead, film has Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala in the supporting role. This movie is much anticipated movie as this is the comeback movie for Bobby Deol and he has completely nailed it. He looks just stunning throughout the film. It in fact doesn’t appear to be his comeback to the silver screen. The action scenes are just breathtaking. The film is been shot in and around Abu Dhabi. Few scenes were filmed in Jammu and Kashmir as well. The most interesting scene is the cat fight between Daisy Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez.
The film revolves around the story of Singh Family. The Family that deals with Arms and Ammunition. Shamsher Singh (Anil Kapoor) is the one handling the business. Rana (Freddy Daruwala) is his biggest enemy and rival. Shamsher has two kids, Sanjana (Daisy Shah) and Suraj (Saqib Saleem). Sikander (Salman Khan) is step brother of Sanjana and Suraj. Yash (Bobby Deol) is the most loyal bodyguard of Sikander. The film is loaded with huge curves and full of twists and turns. We discover everyone’s real character as they change with a blink of an eye. We discover that nothing is as it seems. We discover a family on the verge of self-destruction – or is it a ploy by some outsiders.
Salman Khan: – The viewers will surely miss the evergreen dialogues which Salman Khan mostly has in his previous movies. There is no such iconic scenes which Salman Khan usually has in his movies. Salman Khan somewhere misses the superiority of his role performing against Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
Jacqueline Fernandez: – Jacqueline Fernandez completely nailed her role in the movie. The center of attraction was the pole dance she performed during one of the song. Another impressive scene was the cat fight between her and Daisy Shah. The dialogue delivery of Jacqueline was just WOW. Somewhere playing against Daisy Shah her screen space was affected. She didn’t get enough liberty to explore her character.
Bobby Deol: – This is the comeback movie for Bobby Deol. Bobby Deol is absolutely stunning throughout the movie. The Fight scenes were just on the leap. Somewhere when it comes to acting Bobby beat Salman this time. Even when it comes to acting scenes he done it way better than Salman Khan.
Anil Kapoor: – Anil Kapoor was absolutely magnificent. He just nailed his character and has done complete justice to it. He looks stunning and cool throughout the film. When Salman and other actors failed to satisfy viewer’s expectations he did it with extraordinary ease.
Daisy Shah: – No doubt Jacqueline is in the lead but Daisy has done her part exceptionally well. She tend to grab most of the limelight this time. She performed the actions scenes taking great efforts to explore her character the best.
Saqib Saleem: – Saqib Saleem was in a good form. He somewhere again missed the requirements of his character. He is said to be the angry man but he was calm throughout the film. He didn’t have much of action scenes to perform. Throughout he did it well.
Freddy Daruwala: – Freddy has not got a huge screen space. He has hardly got anything to do except one action scene at the end of the movie. He could have done it in a better way.
Music and Songs: – When it comes to Background score and songs, Race 3 again didn’t manage to come near to level of previous Race series. Salman Khan has written the Lyrics of Selfish song but as it is said experiments don’t fulfill expectations every time. The background score was fine. The songs were not that interesting this time.
Direction: – Remo D’Souza completely failed to reach up to the bars set by Abbas Mastan in the previous Race series. He just focused on the Hollywood look and henceforth failed to deliver proper dialogues, the choreography which was expected from him, the action scene could have been far better than this. Remo D’Souza just focused on giving an expensive look but failed to deliver proper content.
Cinespeaks Verdict: Overall, Race 3 is watchful only for good action quotient. The film has no properly weaved storyline and has average performances. Cinespeaks gives a rating of 2.5 stars
