Actor Ranbir Kapoor is currently riding high on the success of his latest Bollywood film Sanju. The film has already crossed 100 crores at the Box-Office and the critics have appreciated Ranbir’s convincing portrayal as actor Sanjay Dutt.
Sanju which released a few days back depicted how actor Sanjay Dutt dealt with drugs and the life events of the actor were depicted in the film. It is a known fact that how drugs affected Sanjay Dutt – mentally and professionally. While interacting with a leasing daily on drugs, actor Ranbir Kapoor has confessed that he tried drugs during his college days. Ranbir said, “I have tried drugs when I was in college and got into bad influence. But I realised that nothing will happen in life if I continue with drugs. When we did that section, I did a lot of research,” he told the daily. While he claimed he is clean now, he admitted he does have addictions. “Every man makes mistakes in his life. I am addicted to nicotine now and it’s worse than drugs. And I have addiction for sweets as well.”
Well, the actor has now come out of it and is addicted to sweets.
Post the mega success of Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Brahmastra which also stars actress Alia Bhatt and the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan.
The film produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions will be directed by Ayan Mukherjee.
