Review – Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyaar De is a full pack family entertainment this weekend.

Cast: Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Rakul Preet Singh

Director: Akiv Ali

Rating:

“De De Pyaar De” a family comedy-drama starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu & Rakul Preet Singh is set to leave its mark in theatres. The trailer of the film has made the audience go laughing and laughing so did the movie. The movie is directed by Akiv Ali.

The story starts in London where Ashish (Ajay Devgn) who is 50 years old meets  Ayesha (Rakul Preet Singh) a 26-year-old girl in a bachelor’s party and they move forward along with their friendship which slowly and steadily gets into a relationship. Both plans to marry but Ashish wants Ayesha to meet his family first & takes Ayesha to Kullu, Himachal. He meets his family after 15 years thus introduces his young aged love interest as his Secretary. The relation between the two breaks as soon as the family comes to know the reality of Ashish and Ayesha.

Now as the movie goes on the comedy takes a turn towards some seriousness. Ashish is now hanged between his wife Manju (Tabu), whom he left 15 years back and lived in London and on another side is Ayesha who left everything and came to Kullu to marry Ashish. The first half of the movie is a bit boring as the story revolves around Ashish & Ayesha but the story goes on being a comedy as different characters come into play. The story is a mix of the emotion of family values, love, and bond. Comedy is at a lower level as compared to other movies of a writer but an attempt has been made to deliver the message that age does not matter for love.

The all-rounder actor Ajay Devgn can never disappoint his fans in acting. He has bagged all the genres of acting be it comedy or a serious role, he never fails. Even in De De Pyaar De, he made the audience laugh with his great acting skills. Tabu has made her mark in such kind of role alongside Rakul Preet Singh. Both the actress managed to portray their character and performance well. Director Akiv Ali is a Bollywood film editor who now took the first step in Direction with this movie and it came out to be pretty well.

Keeping comedy and romance aside the songs of the film failed to be on the track of the storyline. The film has 6 songs sung by great artists from which none of them are on the audience playlist except for Chale Aana sung by Armaan Malik. The music is composed by Amal Malik, Vipin Patna, Tanish Bagchi, & Rochak Kohli.

Cinespeaks Verdict: Stuck between Manju & Ayesha, Will Ashish be able to Arrange his daughter’s marriage or whom Ashish will choose as his rest life partner, will it be Ayesha or Manju to go Along with Ashish. To clear your confusion, reach out to the nearest theatres. De De Pyaar De is recommended to watch for fun drama entertainment.
