To prepare for Anarkali’s role, the talented Sonarika Bhadoria is learning Kathak and a little bit of Urdu as well.
An excited Sonarika Bhadoria commented, “When I signed up for this show I had decided to learn Khatak to simplify and polish my efforts and skills to get into the skin of the character. As a rakasa I am expected to be a good kathak dancer. Khatak, is a very difficult dance form to learn, it looks easy but when you start learning it, the form needs a lot of concentration and coordination between your hands and legs. I personally have started to enjoy honing this skill and. Sure to learn it further too. This role is very special to me and I’m happy to go the extra mile to be able to play the iconic character of Anarkali.”
