Sushant Singh Rajput brought sexy back and how , when he went shirtless for the song “Main Tera Boyfriend” , showing off his chiseled physique . Back then, the actor hit the gym with a vengeance for the hit song and raised the bar with his dance moves.

Sushant is now going all out for a highlight song in Drive also starring Jacqueline Fernandez. The actor who was shooting in Uttarakhand for Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath , had little time on hand to prep for the song but that didn’t stop him from working on his look for the ambitious song ,which will be shot in Israel.

Sources reveal that Sushant traveled with his trainer to Kedarnath , simultaneously training post shooting hours. The actor also went on a special diet to get in shape for the song as there are several bare chested shots.

Says a source, ” Sushant had to sport a leaner look and lose around 7 kgs for the Drive song .He had only 3 months to prepare for it so he followed the keto diet for 15 days and then a low carb diet for another 15 days to get into shape. His training was a mix of cross fit, weights and cardio. Sushant traveled with his trainer Yeshu Talari so that he could work on his look in the song”.

Sushant’s trainer Talari says, “ Keto is a diet high on protein and fat, and devoid of carbs. The reduction in carbs puts the body into a metabolic state, called ketosis. We followed this regimen for a fortnight, and subsequently switched Sushant to a low carb diet. He consumed protein every three hours.”

A typical day for the actor commenced with an hour of cardiovascular training, before he began shooting for the rest of the day. Given that racers can lose as much as three kilos in a single race, the shriveled look was essential for the part. “ We conducted a mix of functional training, CrossFit, weight training and TRX [ Total Resistance exercises],” Talari said.
