National Award Winning Actress Vidya Balan was recently spotted at an event launching the Malta India Film Festival. The Tumhari Sulu actress was interacting with the media on her becoming the Brand Ambassador of the festival to be held in December later this year.
While interacting with the press, Vidya expressed that she is currently enjoying the shooting of her forthcoming Telugu film based on N.T. Rama Rao. The actress has finished five days of shooting in Hyderabad and has also taken Harmonium classes for her character of Basavatarakam. Vidya Balan said, “So, I am very excited about that. I have never delivered dialogues in another language apart from Hindi. Earlier, I did special appearances for one-two scenes in Malayalam film but in this film, I have a full-fledged role. We start shooting sharp at 9 a.m. and finish dot at 6 p.m. which is really a unique experience for me.”
N.T.R. is a Telugu-Hindi bilingual much-awaited biopic on the life of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who served as Chief Minister for three terms. The film is being directed by Krish and the music is composed by M.M. Keeravani.
The yet to be titled biopic film also stars actors Rakul Preet and Rana Dagubatti in key roles alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna. The film will tentatively release next year on the occasion of Makar Sakranti in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
