‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra today unveiled the latest song of their upcoming flick titled ‘Ye Jawaani Teri’.
While Abhi and Bindu transported us to the era of retro songs with their moves, Ayushmann and Parineeti took us back to their younger days.
On being asked about the days of her jawaani, Parineeti said, “I was raised up in Ambala and if a girl steps out of her house there, it comes in the newspaper. Plus, my family was extremely protective of me. My Dad used his hockey stick a lot.”
Her singer co-star Ayushmann too shared an interesting tale, “When I was in college, I was either doing theatre or working on my music. I didn’t even know many girls then.”
On Sonu Nigam row
Ayushmann and Parineeti certainly did not anticipate a question on the issue. However, Pari said that ‘every individual has a right a express his/her opinion on any issue but as far as I am concerned, I do not have any opinions on the matter.”
Backing her leading lady, Ayushmann said, “That is the beauty of our country. Everybody is allowed to put across their views, some agrees and some not.”
On Kulbhushan Yadav
Completely thrown off by a question on the matter, Parineeti said, “I am the least important and least worthy person to comment on this. I am sure our government will take the right steps.”
On controversy over fairness creams
When it came to commenting over actor Abhay Deol’s Facebook post slamming actors for promoting fairness creams, the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress chose to keep mum and dodge the question.
