Alia Bhatt Supports Shailendra Singh’s Journey To Unite A Billion Indians
Superstar Alia Bhatt has never shied away from making strong statements on issues that matter to the country. Whether it was saving Aarey Colony or making a statement about climate change, she has always supported the right causes. This time around she has championed the One India. My India rally, an initiative by entertainment, sports and brand guru Shailendra Singh.
A unique journey that began on October 2, 2019, to mark Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary, the One India. My India Rally is a movement covering 7000 kilometers across 15 cities and 11 states in India, from Kanyakumari to Kashmir to unite Indians cutting across religion, caste, and creed. On his journey, Singh is meeting people from all walks of life and interviewing unsung heroes whose selfless acts of humanity have never reached the world.

So far, the rally has made waves having covered Kanyakumari, Kochi, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Hampi, Goa, Kolhapur and Pune, with Singh meeting inspiring unsung heroes in each city. At each stopover, Singh will share the One India, My India / Ek Bharat, Mera Bharat Anthem4Good, which he co-created with India’s most beloved composer, Mithoon and released on 23 April 2019. The anthem has won hearts globally and has planted itself firmly as a unifying anthem in the minds of listeners.
