#DhoniGloveRow- Riteish Deshmukh and Paresh Rawal come out openly in support of M.S Dhoni!

India is a cricket obsessed nation is something we all are aware of. Whenever India plays an International cricket match, the entire country comes together to support and cheer for the country. So in an environment like this, when it’s time for the festival of cricket, aka. the ICC World Cup, the fan frenzy knows no bounds.

India have started their run in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 with a high as they defeated South Africa in their inaugural match of the tournament. The team batted well and Rohit Sharma anchored the ship with a well made 122 which guided India to it’s first win of the mega tournament. India bowled well. India batted well and they won.

But still there’s something from that cricket match which has stirred a kind of an unexpected controversy and this is about the legend, M.S Dhoni.

M.S Dhoni was seen wearing the Indian Army coloured wicket-keeping gloves as he took on on South Africa.

But the International Cricket Council (ICC) seems to have a problem with no justified reason.. That’s why they had requested BCCI to request Dhoni to not use that pair of gloves.

This has enraged strong reactions against ICC within the country and even celebrities like Riteish Deshmukh and Paresh Rawal haven’t kept themselves behind on this.
Protesting against the same, Riteish Deshmukh and Paresh Rawal tweeted –

1) Riteish Deshmukh – Indian Army has always been independent irrespective of the political party in power. We are proud of them. Lt. Col. @msdhoni has worn the Army insignia as a symbol of pride. Doesn’t  hurt anyone’s sentiments, In fact it honours the brave #DhoniKeepTheGlove  #WorldCup2019

2) Paresh Rawal – Dhoni Insignia Row .To put it simply and mildly, BCCI should tell ICC to go to hell .

We at CineSpeaks entirely align with the views of Riteish Deshmukh and Paresh Rawal and strongly feel that M.S Dhoni shouldn’t take off that glove. Afterall, he is wearing the pride of the country and that’s DEFINITELY NOT a matter of ‘shame’.
