Cinespeaks ratings :
21 films. 10 years. Now that’s a lot of prequels if one has to consider before Avengers: Endgame was out for the public to see. But all the wait was definitely worth it.
First things first. If you are someone who hasn’t seen the previous movies, this isn’t surely the one to jump the gun to and come directly. But for all those Marvel fans who have seen it all, let me tell you, this is surely going to be the best 3 hours of your Avengers experience so far.
The film boasts of an excessive powerful starcast in the form of Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Runner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Gwyneth Paltrow, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan.
Nobody else could have got all this to fall into place and perfectly without Russo duo of Anthony and Joe. They surely managed to get their act right here with ‘Endgame’.
If we have to sum it up in a line to keep simple things short and crisp, ‘Endgame’ is primarily dealing with the after effects and ramifications of ‘Infinity War’ and how do the OG 6 Avengers do the needful to get it sorted. What stood out best for ‘Endgame’ was how the gap between the past, present and future was bridged down by the Russo brothers. The writing undoubtedly speaks for itself whereas the VFX department has even topped it’s previous best which was ‘Infinity War’.
Now to hit the performance zone, Robert Downey Jr. has given his best shot without any doubt in MCU history. Chris Evans does his job quietly and perfectly while Hemsworth as ‘Thor‘ was funny to a different level. As far as where the Ruffalos and the Johansson’s impress you, for that you need to quickly get your tickets sorted and hit the theatres at the earliest.
CineSpeaks Verdict : Overall, the movie is definitely worth watching and that too more than once. However if you are Marvel fan, even ‘infinite’ as a number can be less to convey our thoughts on ‘Endgame’. You definitely don’t wanna miss out on this. So what’s the easiest way to avoid those unnecessarily bothering ‘spoilers’ from coming your way? Rush to your nearest theatre to get the ‘ultimate’ Avengers experience, fortunately or unfortunately, in it’s literal sense this time.
