Dream On is a docu-series based on the lives of some cricketers who always wanted to write their names in history. Reliance Entertainment’s Big Synergy introduces 8 extraordinary journeys of cricketers to those who have already set their favorites to Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli.
Anil D. Ambani led Reliance Entertainment’s content development and production company Big Synergy has forayed into a new genre of sports docu-drama with its show Dream On, the show is running on India’s leading sports network and the home of Indian Premier League- Star Sports.
The show introduces the cricketers Khaleel Ahmed, Rinku Singh, Rahul Chahar, Deepak Chahar, Kulwant Khejroliya, Shivam Mavi, Aryaman Birla, Manzoor Dar, and Shubman Gill. These are the hidden gems of our cricket league. They always had a dream to play for India instead of playing for themselves. The story shows the ups and downs of their life, from how they took a step to accomplish their dream, to the hurdles they faced until they became a part of IPL and could climb the mountains of their ambition. It also shows the feeling of a person and his family when his name is announced for auction. It displays the background of the cricketer, from a labour who used to earn 60rs a day to a billionaire who can have luxurious life without even doing anything, but such people chose to do something on their own and represent India.
The director has portrayed each and every point of their life, he missed out on nothing. The series is so beautifully presented that it attracts every individual who is watching it. The director managed to connect it to our regular life so that we can understand what a cricketer goes through. He leads to keep us in their shoes. The music and sound effect connects you with the scene.
